University faculty will be trained to help future teachers incorporate technology-based teaching strategies into activities they will use in K-12 instructional
materials.
Future teachers who take redesigned
courses will create and maintain a portfolio documenting their use of technology to develop strategies and materials for K-12 students that match NSTA and ISTE standards.
Faculty-consultant redesigned courses will result in faculty modeling best-practice use of technology as they teach, and students
will be required to emulate those models in their creation of K-12 instructional materials
and strategies. Future teachers will note the seamless integration of technology to
support student learning and be provided with experiences is learning centers that
incorporate technology to provide connectivity to the global community.
