The Missouri Regional Professional Development Centers will provide the opportunity for access to information and resources in proven instructional and administrative practices, which promotes quality instruction in the classroom, overall school improvement, and school-linked services for youth and their families. (See http://www.dese.state.mo.us/divteachqual/leadership/rpdc/index.html for the center nearest you.)
Each center will form its own multi-sector partnership to meet the priorities of the
State Board of Education and the Legislature, and to develop its own area of specialties to meet the needs of area educators.
Each Missouri school district is reviewed on a five-year cycle using the standards and indicators which make up the Missouri School Improvement Program. The standards and indicators fall within three major areas:
1. Resources
2. Process
3. Performances.
