Pictured above are
new students who want to be either elementary or middle school teachers. They
were selected (15 out of hundreds of entering elementary education freshmen) for their plans to
teach math and science at these grade levels.
As they progressed towards a degree, they took many classes
together such as this one, and were worked with individually. In addition to
being together in this class, with Becky Baker and Dean Larry Banks as their instructors,
they also had laptop computers lent to them that they used for the length of the
program.

meeting.
