The College of Natural and Applied Sciences and the College of Education at Missouri State University, in collaboration with K-12 partners from Strafford, Lebanon and Springfield, are working together to reform the ways teachers are prepared to teach science.  Welcome to our WWW website.

Missouri State is implementing a strategic plan for information technology, and has been investing in new technology infrastructure and curriculum since 1997. Surveys of enrollment in college programs and in schools has indicated that Missouri has a particular shortage of science and mathematics teachers, as does the rest of the country. Science and mathematics are the areas that the Missouri State College of Education, working with the College of Natural and Applied Sciences, is eager to develop.
